Yesterday I received a message on Myspace from a past friend of mine – who I haven’t seen in many years – that was quite disturbing. They were accusing someone very dear to me of doing something incredibly awful – but they didn’t have the guts to give me any details or proof unless I called them so they could spew over the phone about what they thought they knew. I wanted to throw up when I opened the message – and struggled all day not knowing what to do with this information – because deep down I don’t believe a word of it.
At the end of the day, I knew that God was in control of this and that He doesn’t need my help to deal with anything. So – I deleted the message and shut down myspace for the night. I absolutely will not entertain gossip or hearsay about people that I love and know that God has put in my life. Come to me with proof and a right spirit or I’ll shut you down in a hot minute…
